Borderless image sharing
The Cranium Service is ‘network agnostic’ and a companion web-service to all radiology routing systems. You can securely share images from inside the NHS N3 Network, including Cypher IT’s bbRad network. As reciprocal distributors, Cypher IT provides the Cranium service as a module to their connected sites. Likewise, Cimar provides bbRad facilities to our customers, enabling direct web-worklist access for radiologists and end users anywhere. For NHS use where sharing is needed both sides of the N3 network, Cimar can be run as a highly secure bridging web service . Cranium's embedded compression technology, massively reduces the volume of data that needs to be shared, without compromising image quality. For N3, this means more studies can be shared, faster, using less bandwidth, helping minimise network congestion...
Cranium can be hosted either on an internet facing web server at a data centre, or off your network in a DMZ, or you can open a live account on Cimar's server farm. Each option is simple to implement and does not require high spec hardware.
