Many clinical trials involve sharing and assessment of patients Radiology studies. Clinical Pre-qualification of candidate patient, progressive monitoring and

Cimar's Cranium Web service is used to provide an international image sharing portal connecting participating hospitals across Spain with The Royal Marsden NHS Trust Hospital in the UK.

Given that Cranium is easy for sites to connect to, the service can be live almost immediately, each having private virtual worklists for exchanging clinical images, documents and diagnostic reports. Importantly, no software needs to be installed at referring sites, and no IT maintenance is required.
